I'm sorry, as I know this is off topic for Glennhaven, but would you be willing to enable comments for Trigger Happy? I'd like to comment about a bug I'm experiencing.
The game is pretty fun, but could be really enhanced with a few adjustments. In order of importance in my opinion :
1 : Disabling the hitboxes of dead ennemies (Once, an ennemy ran into a corspse and fly away over the tower, and nothing happened to the tower)
2 : Let the player chose the lane with keys (Sometimes you are aiming at an ennemy and the lane changes automatically so you miss it and you lose the game, and that's pretty frustrating)
3: Shortcuts for skills
However I had a good time playing this game. Keep going this way and have fun developping games.
I think what Clement means is that right now you have to click on the icon in the bottom right to select that ability and then proceed to move your mouse and fire your arrow. Instead making the player press a keybind like the '1' button on your keyboard to select the cold arrow would probably feel quicker and more natural to the player. I'll be honest i didn't know how to use the abilities for a while because i made the assumption that they already worked this way.
I enjoyed playing this game and loved hearing the little voice lines, they really added to the game. The models look solid too.
I agree with the three points in the above comment and think they would make a great addition. Keep up the good work!
Good clarification and good idea (I think MGC_Vlad also mentioned about this in his video). I have been working lately with IOS version's Skillz PvP system so my mindset was in that world and I thought "shortcuts for skills" was a reference to Skillz's PvP system.
The main target for the game is mobile, that's the reason there are some seemingly strange choices like automatic lane selection. It's a bit "lightweight" game to be a real pc game imo. I build this pc version only because it comes almost as a freebie in unity.
Those "I can see my house from here", "Ardiaan" etc. are voice acting by yours truly :D. Wasn't sure that they would work, glad to hear you enjoyed them.
When the mouse hits the border of the screen, you cannot aim in that direction anymore. When enemies run over fallen enemies, they can shoot up in to the air unexpectedly. Game started with mute enabled, thought it had no sound for a while.
Thanks. I was using the PC version, but found it difficult using a laptop touchpad (no mouse), but I switched to IOS and touchscreen is much better. I have to say it is very enjoyable, congratulations!
Some comments on IOS version:
1. The slow-mo head-shot for the golum does not work visually, it appears to zoom in too far or something so you can't see anything (I think the PC version was the same way).
2. When you exit from Skillz from the top right menu ("Exit Glennhaven Archery Tournaments"), the screen just goes completely black (most of the time); you have to exit the app and restart.
3. Perhaps make a way to skip the zoom-in intro for each level. After playing several rounds it can get tedious to have to watch it every time.
4. What triggers a slow motion head-shot (for 100 points)? Is it just random? Most head-shots are not slow-mo.
5. "Practice" is misspelled "practise" in some places.
6. It seems to get the most points in tournament play, you need to hit each enemy in different places, in a specific order. Is there any strategy guide for this? The "Practise" mode of the game seems to have a different scoring method, so you can't use trial and error in this mode to see how to get higher scores in Tournament mode.
7. It seems that using the TNT or freezing arrows may not allow you to get the best scores in tournament play, is there any reason to use these if you want the highest score?
1. This is a tedious bug that I haven't been able to fix yet. It's really a ghost in the code. Every slow-mo is done the same way, but for some reason the golem acts up.
2. Thanks for the info, I will fix it to the next update.
3. Good idea and worth implementing, I will put this into the next update.
4. Slow-mo for headshots are random, but you will get 100 points for each headshot. If you watch the whole slow-mo you get extra points in addition to that 100 points.
5. I'm not a native English speaker, thank you for pointing it out.
6. Yes you get different points from different hits. For instance if you kill a Troll with your first arrow (a headshot) you would get 100 points. If you want to maximize your points in the case of Troll a better strategy is to hit him 3 times to the leg and then finish him with a headshot. This gives you 3x50 + 100 = 250 points. There is no strategy guide for this. You just have to play and learn how many different shots can an enemy take into different body parts before giving the finishing headshot.
7. The game should get more difficult after a while and then the freezing and TNT arrows are really handy. Unfortunately there seems to be a bug in this and at the moment we only get the "easy" days where special arrows are not so useful. At least the freezing arrow isn't. TNT arrow can sometimes save you if the enemy gets too close, then you can just shoot it behind the enemy to clear the danger of a game over.
Thank you, I enjoyed watching your video a lot. Many good points how to improve the game! More FPS spells, attaching Freeze and Dynamite arrows into 1 and 2 keyboard buttons, better timing with the monsters so there is no waiting, etc. That dead angle when bringing your mouse over the bottom of the screen is a pickle.
Also I was really happy to see a smile and a grin now and then :) That's the best reward! Sorry about all the frustrating parts, please forgive me for being an old school player myself. I spent my youth (and money) in 80's with arcade cabinets that where really tough. There is some remnant in my DNA from those days that effect my games ;)

Thank you for your comments! Could you elaborate what do you mean with nro 3 Shortcuts for skills?

Hi. I played your game and recorded it on a video. If you want me to delete the video, let me know. Anyway, I enjoyed playing your game.
